Not Your President...Anymore
They say that all good things must come to an end. For the past year I've enjoyed serving as the 100th President of the Society of American Magicians, but now my term is finished. In the past year I've done a lot of traveling as I represented the S.A.M. Las Vegas, Simi Valley, Indianapolis, Des Moines, Corpus Christi, Portland and Louisville were just a few of the cities I visited throughout the United States. I also had the pleasure of visiting the Magic Circle in London and attending the world's largest magic convention in Blackpool, England. But aside from the traveling, we got a lot of work accomplished, too. The first thing I did as President was to establish a campaign to increase membership. I'm happy to say that the campaign was a success and we welcomed more than 500 new members into the S.A.M.
Over the past year I've made an incredible number of new friends and had countless wonderful experiences. But now it's time to move aside and let the next President talk the helm. I'd like to thank the Society of American Magicians for giving me this wonderful opportunity. It's something I'll cherish for the rest of my life.
